Microsoft Windows DJ Program

I’ve been a DJ for over 30 years and have seen the radical changes to the craft that have democratized the DJ world over that time. One of the first projects I produced for Microsoft was a summit of some of the biggest DJ’s in the world to come to Seattle/Redmond and check out new technologies Microsoft was creating. I knew that DJ’s were going to be huge influencers on all culture so I asked the Windows Group at Microsoft to create a program that would highlight all the various tools and technologies in the Windows Ecosystem to help aspiring DJ’s and producers create and perform together in real time. This was very successful and allowed Microsoft to have a place in the DJ Booth as the role of DJ expanded globally. This project included DeLa Soul, Kaskade, Dirty Projectors, Daedelus, Reggie Watts, Diplo, and Kevin Saunders as part of our online collaborative community. TPC then hosted activations at SXSW in Austin, SONAR in Barcelona, MUTEK in Montreal, WMC/ULTRA in Miami, and at Decibel in Seattle.
